Tracey Tobin
I am Summit's English Language Arts teacher, and I have enjoyed teaching at WCS since 2000. I graduated with a BA in English from St. Lawrence University and went on to earn my Masters in Education from the University of Vermont. I live on Lake Champlain and enjoy boating, swimming, traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. In the winter, I love snowshoeing and sitting in front of my fireplace with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. My dog, Luna, and I are also a certified Therapy Dog of Vermont team and we volunteer around the county. This summer was especially exciting since I married my sweetheart! My husband and I are planning to honeymoon in Europe next June. Nikki McCuin 2023-2024 will be my 8th year with Summit House. I will teach 7th grade math and science for 7th and 8th grade math and science teacher. I have earned a B.A. in Psychology from Jacksonville University and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from UVM. My husband and I grew up in Vermont. We have lived in Florida, Alabama and Tennessee. My family and I, love living in Williston and being part of this community. We spend most of our summer swimming and most of the winter skiing. I am always interested in recommendations for my next good book. Brie Healy The 2023-24 school year marks my fourth year at Williston Central School and on Summit House. Previously I enjoyed 6 years at U-32 Middle and High School in Montpelier and 1 year at Lyndon Town School in the Northeast Kingdom. I graduated from UVM with a BS in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Science and a minor in Community and International Development, and then earned my middle level teaching license through the TAP Program. I returned to UVM for a M.Ed. in Interdisciplinary Studies. I love to read, garden, swim, travel, cook, bake, and eat. I also think I may be addicted to berry picking. Growing up in New England, I love our changing seasons and this beautiful planet we get to call home (so let's take care of it!). My husband (Mike) and I live in Richmond with our daughter (Lydia, 4), son (Elliott, 1), and dog (Rosie). Chris Rose In 2023-24, I'll teach math to 7th grade students and Social Studies to 7th and 8th grade students. I joined Summit House (formerly known as Full House) as a classroom teacher in 2011. My educational background includes a BA and Postbaccalaureate Teaching Certificate for middle level education from UVM, and an MBA from San Francisco State University. My professional past includes 15 years in the business and technology world (most recently 9 years as a management consultant) before my career change into education. I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan originally, but now live in Essex with my wife Carey and our dog Sophie. I have two daughters, one working in Jacksonville FL and another attending college. In my free time, I enjoy coaching softball, golf, skiing, Scrabble®, euchre, hearts, jogging, and hiking. Chris Ford I am the school counselor working with Summit House and really enjoy being part of a community that is dedicated to helping all kids succeed. I grew up in NY, but having family roots in VT, I went to UVM and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Counseling. The focus of my work is to help all students develop the skills and attitude to be able to achieve academic and personal success. I enjoy having fun with students and helping them learn how to have a positive attitude, a growth mindset, and healthy balance in their busy lives. I currently live in South Burlington with my wife and teenage daughter. In my free time, I enjoy being outside and active. I enjoy most sports, hiking, fishing, gardening, cooking, laughing, and having fun with my family and friends. June Gulla I am a Summit House Teacher and Case Manager. Depending on what is needed, I co-teach in Math and Language Arts; I teach small reading, writing and math classes. I have been teaching here at Williston Central School since 2000. For fun, I love to travel, yoga, hiking and spending time on the lake boating! I prefer a life filled with new adventures, new learning and to be surrounded by family and friends as often as possible. I live in South Hero with my husband and daughter Riley! |
